Thank you for an incredible inaugural year of Summer Youth Camp. We are sad to announce that July 5-9 and July 12-16 have been canceled this year due to low enrollment. However, we are making our plans for next year's camp and will release the dates in a few months.

2021 Camp Wilkes Summer Youth Camp

This summer, on Biloxi Back Bay, Camp Wilkes is offering 5 weeks of nature-based youth camps filled with fun and discovery for ages 6-8 & 9-12.

Each day begins at 8:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm; early drop-off/late pick-up options are available.

Costs and Registration:

$50 non-refundable registration fee per camper; fee is applied toward the camp cost

$200/Week 1; $225/Weeks 2-5; discount available for multiple campers

Camp spots can be reserved once a registration form and deposit payment have been received.

Campers are to provide their own lunches, water, and snacks. Appropriate swimsuits, footwear,

and towels should also be brought daily for swimming as weather permits.

Camp Descriptions and Themes:

Daily activities that our campers will enjoy include nature walks, arts & crafts, and indoor/outdoor games focused on the week’s theme - plus swimming in our 164,000-gallon pool with lifeguards on duty. What more could a camper ask for?!

Week 1 – Great Outdoors – June 1-4

This week campers will get to personalize a hiking stick, tie-dye a tee, create flowers, and even identify and paint animal tracks! It will be great to be outdoors!

Week 2 – Critter Week – June 7-11

What has fur, feathers, fins, scales, and slime? Critter week! Themes will give campers the opportunity to learn about different featured creatures while having a wildlife good time.

Week 3 – Just Beachy – June 14-18

Suncatchers and sand sculptures are just the beginning of this camp week. Campers will experience just what makes a beach a beach without a sunburn and getting sand in your car.

Week 4 – Bugging Out – July 5-9

Whether they fly, jump, creep, crawl, or buzz, our campers will have the chance to see, touch, and hear all kinds of insects. No smelling or tasting allowed unless campers really want to…

Week 5 – Wing Things – July 12-16

Yes, things with wings do fly, but they also eat, sleep, and go through really cool life cycles. Campers will be “busy as bees” while they build feeders, nests, and houses.
